Known for its diving, the resort has a PADI, instructional diving center. Harmony with nature is a major feature at the resort. Friendly, colorful parrotfish can be seen from the shore. On land, hummingbirds and butterflies are found among the garden’s frangipani and hibiscus blossoms.

Habitat’s spa offers massages, slimming body treatments and European facials. Active guests can enjoy yoga, and hiking and biking to the nearby Flamingo Sanctuary and historic plantation homes. The resort also features its own art gallery.
